I have to fill up my leaking power steering, what fluid should I use? Is ordinary Mobil ATF (Dexron-III/Mercon) fluid fine, and can it be mixed safely with what is already in there, at least for a couple days? Thanks!

Yes regular ATX fluid is OK. When you get the leak fixed flush it out and replace with synthetic ATX. It will last forever. Well at least 5 years.
