I'm getting ready to put the big honkin' stereo in this weekend and wanted to see if anyone had any really cool ideas for sub enclosures. I'm going to use a store bought enclosure for the winter but wanted to make somthing nice and custom like in the spring time. Just looking for ideas really...

I'm also wondering if anyone here has tried one of the newer decks with the time alignment feature (time correction), and if so, what do you think of it?

TIA,
Brad.

what size subs? I am running 10's

Ill post a pic later as the one I do not have a quality pic at the moment.

(in the spare tire well)

I like it cause my trunk and the fold down seat backs are still completely functional.

Here they are. Sorry they took so long.

I had wanted to build two boxes that fit on the sides of the trunk over the wells on either side of the spare tire well for 12"s. I had a lot of drawings of it but never really got around to it. i wanted to do some custom wood work and make it look like the boxes blended right in with the rear fenderwells in the trunk. Thought it would be a cool idea. just an idea I suppose, im sure there are far more elaborate and custom applications that people will bring up.

I just have a big box for my two 15" subs. Fits under where the back speakers are at and I still have a pretty good trunk. Plus there's room in front of it to "hide" stuff behind the seat... if necessary.

Like a case of beer before I turned 21... Now it holds two ugly blankets so I don't have to look at them behind the subs.

I was also thinking of something in the corner. I'm reasonably proficient with fiberglass so maybe I will give it a shot once it's warm enough for 'glass to set up.

Some "visualy impared" lady t-boned me the other day so I can probably save a few beans if I get the enclosure painted at the same time the door is repaired.
