Ported intake

Have any of you guys had your intake ported? Is there a power increase doing it?

Lots to mess up... Unless running ported heads, just clean up area behind throttle body.

Yep but don't be temped to do a "gasket match" on the intake runners...

Alright thanks! Does it mess up where the intake bolts to the heads because the port sizes will be different if you don't port the heads too?

It would be a long explanation to tell you why I say dont touch, but the air has to exit the intake and take a hard turn. There is a bump on the outside inner wall if the intake port that needs to be in there to aid the air in turning.
