sometimes when i turn (usually during harder turns) i hear a sort of pop sound from underneath the car.
i know for a fact that this one needs subframe bushings.
would i need to dig any deeper or should that do it?

I had a similar problem, after installing front and rear sway bars. We tightened the Subframe bushing bolts and that solved it. I would say if you think it needs them anyway, might as well, and if it doesnt fix it, at least you have new ones!

from where underneath the car? on my old one, the bearings on top of the struts were going bad, and whenever I turned, they would make yea, kinda popping noises, also, I lost a subframe bolt and didn't realize it for a while, but it made similar popping sound, also made the wheel lock up when i had it turned, but thats another story...go for those subframe bushings, should clean it up...if it needs it, might as well do it...
