And believe it or not...I've gotten more comments on that PI badge on the back than on my gauge pods. You sure can tell what people wonder about these days :)

I'll have to search for the part number. Don't have it handy.

I'll see what I can come up with though.
Hey Mark, how's the hood mod coming along?
Slow....it'll be in place by spring. Not in any major hurry. Its been more of a pain that I thought it would.

Mark.

I can't understand the apeal of putting a Police Interceptor badge on a car that clearly is not no was ever a Police Interceptor. In fact other than for bragging rights, I can't see much sense in keeping the PI badge on the Crown Vics that they come on. I was going to buy a former PI Crown Vic, but I didn't have the cash at the time. The fact that it had the PI badge on it was a big factor in why I wanted that perticular car. Now that I have my black Gen III with tinted windows I'm glad I got it instead. I think it actually looks more like an FBI car without the PI badge. I don't really get why anyone would want to put false badges on a Gen III. I've seen a BMW badge on the back of a Gen III, and one with a SVT badge. I just don't get it.
By having a PI badge on my SHO...it matches the 2000 CV PI that I have parked in my 4th stall. Oh..and by the way....the CV has a light bar...and a laptop...and a radar unit in it :D

Its all about attitude! I like the PI badge on my SHO...its a conversation piece to say the least :)

How do you put on an SVT or PI badge. Just superclean the surface then apply? Does a carwash influence the adhesion?

Thanks,

Scott

They stick really good. Although you need to heat them a bit to get a slight curve in them.

I guess it's not to much different than customizing any car. Heck, I was going to put a set of headers, a spoiler, rear window shade, and a ground effects package on my old 93 four door ****** to try and Ralley it out. I really wanted to get opinions, and you guys all provided me with plenty. Thanks for the input guys.

if it wasnt for FoMoCos venture with Yamaha, the Ford Special Vehicles Team may have never gotten off the ground. i would more likely adhere an SVT badge to my SHO than a Police Interceptor badge. granted, i think the PI badges are badass, but i would not put one on my SHO. just my .02...

HEY SHO91MTX: as for the cruiser number...how about your SHOforum Member Number ? wink

well pretty soon I will be part of the law in town, so that's why it's getting totally done up. I've been working on the chief, he's right about to say yes.
