Which ones are you looking at? I have a DM-100 w/SM-AFR (STi) on one car and a DM-5 w/SM-AFR on another (SHO). Prior to that, I had an M-300 with NBO2->WBO2 adapter for my AutoMeter.

I have been happy with them and the new products they've come out with in the last 6-7 years have stepped up the bar. I don't miss my M-300.

I was looking at the DM100's, like the fact that you can make custom displays with. But very very expensive.

The DM-100 is a pretty sweet gauge. I originally wanted to just one run gauge in STi and this would allow me to monitor and log many things without cluttering the car. All the ideas I had just didn't flow well, so I ended up with this. I'll get a pic soon of it all lit up... I had to send my middle gauge back due to lighting issues.

You're right, it's not cheap, but it's definitely worth it.
