I was at bobistheoilguy.com, and was just kinda looking around and i found this
no only is the link to that pic bad, but scorll down a few replys and you will see some sad stuff.
Please, use good oil, and change it.

Motorcraft filter and whatever the cheapest oil is for the 92, it burns right through it anyhow.. headbang

Well when i had my camaro, it proabaly went through a quart every time you started it in the morning :p then the engine swap from **** went wrong, and it is now gone :confused:

You're kidding. Right?
I totally forgot about that post and this thread. Never would I dare to put in Pennzoil. Castrol and/or Motorcraft only. You should've seen the heads and bottom end of the 93, previous owner used Pennzoil and to add to that 10W-40.

Lets not get started. All the sludge and gunk you seen in that oil pan is pure negelect. That is not the result of a cheap oil, even the holyest of holys; the might "CASTROL GTX" would do the same thing. If you dont change your oil, thats what happens. Ive run ELCHEAPO 10w-30 in the beater for two years now, 40K, and the internals are clean as a whisle. Penssoil is fine also. There is a pic.

Pennzoil is good oil. PureBase is probably better than GTX. GTX thins pretty quick compared to a lot of dinos..but still performs great in the reccomended intervals.
