Obviously its the alternator so today i replaced the Alternator no probs. i start it up and drive it no probs light went away put i noticed when i put the lights on my climate control numbers dimmed so i took it to sears and they ran a Load test i think they said my Alternator was only pushing 30 amps. i replaced the belt too. someone please help me here on this one the belt tension is pretty close to perfect i got the Alternator form Advanced Auto is it a bad alternator. the guy from sears said to have my mechanics look at all the pulley's someone out there please help me

My guess would be that the alternator is junk. When mine failed, I was unable to find a replacement at any local auto part stores. Ending up having my original rebuilt. Our alternators are rated at 130 amps...be sure the alternator you got from the store is the correct one.
