Hi everyone!

My name is Dominic Petersen, and I am a Student from Montreal. I am 21, and later this week I will be picking up a 1994 MTX Silver SHO with moonroof and all the goodies with only 183000 Km on it! Got her for $6500 CDN ($3500 USD).

I look forward to getting to know you guys, although I know most of what goes on here cause I have been spying on this forum since January wink

Hopefully this will the car to give me a renewed faith in Ford :p After a long line of new and used Toyota's I might be getting in trouble wink

Cya around,

DOM

That it will probably not do! The reliability of these cars is hit and miss... and they are fairly maintanence intensive. however, if you have a problem, post it here, someone else has had the same problem!

Congrats on the purchase! The car will slowly suck you in until you develop an addiction. :D As long as it is maintained, you should have no problems. Welcome aboard!

Congrats on the vehicle. I will be moving up to Montreal this July and hopefully I will see you and your SHO up there. They 're very rare up in Montreal, I brought mine to "Canadian Tire" for service and they have never seen one before, oh well.
The site in very informative with very helpful people. Welcome again. :)

Welcome!
Lucky you, you're fairly close to SHONUT. He's in Ingleside, near Cornwall.
He sells SHO parts, stock and performance, and knows the car inside and out. He's one of the advertisers on this forum. I believe he owns 3 SHOs, including a supercharged one eek!
Make sure you get the repair history of your car, It'll come in handy.

- Tommy, here's a tip about Canadian Tire aka Crappy Tire in canadienese: great for waxes and cleaners and the odd part, not so hot for servicing cars (unless you drive a disposable car like a Cavalier).
A lot of the mechanics are in training and often work with some kind of quota. The more they service, the more money they make!
