Performance short blocs (!?)

Hi,

I made a search yesterday for some parts and found this site selling 2 differents perfomance short blocs for our 3.4L ... How these blocs are a perf upgrade is a little bit out of my knowledge but these 2 blocs are made from cast iron. I think it's related to another old post I made many months ago.

Stronger but heavier too. Knowing the weight repartition of the car (which is around 64% front and 36% rear with an aluminium bloc), it will not ameliorate it.

Interesting, but my first concern is these are designed to be pushrod engines. Thus, not a direct fit. Heads would need to be purchased. I'd wager an alternate transmission, unless this is a direct replacement for the 98/99 Lincolns?

The 3.4 V8, based on the 2.5 V6 Duratec block, was only in the SHO.

They are small block ford blocks. In no way would these work, they're listed incorrectly.
