I made a custom set of Huge Bore Butterflies for my ported intake. The prototype for the HBB's cost me $600.00 to make. I was hoping to make a group buy to lower the cost, but there was no interest. These HBB added about 18+hp and 10lbs lb torque on my naturally aspirated engine.

It took me a week to port the intake.

I imagine that on a force fed engine it could double the gain.
The HBB's are all made from aluminum billet on a cnc milling machine.

Interested in the intake. Are the runners ported? I looked thru all your pics and didn't see any of the runners. Are the matched to the HBBs?

I forgot how to post the pictures on the forum.

Yes, I ported the heads and gasket matched the runners on the intake as deep as I could reach.

If you click on any of the links, it will take take you to my account on Photobucket. There are several galleries. You can see all the photos of the parts that I made for the SHO.

No, I made the correct size butterflies for the bores. They work just like the originals.

I did remove the horns.

Originally I was going to part my SHO figuring that I could get more money for all the upgrades, but I realize that I won't be able to tear my SHO apart.

I've had the SHO for over 20 years, and it needs someone who is interested in working on it.

The car has no rust. The paint is fair.

It has an electrical problem that I have not been able to fix. So far I have replaced the crank trigger which was broken ( I was hoping this was the culprit). I purchased a used computer that did not work. The original computer has a transistor burnt out. Supposedly from the damaged crank trigger). I replaced the CCRM. I installed a new $200.00 fuel pump. I spent another $200.00 on a mechanic, and still, I have not been able to start it. I have not been able to find a working computer, but I am not going to continue.

So far I have removed the HBB intake (sold), the Sparco steering wheel and adapter (sold), and the SHOrt Shifter. I replaced it with a SHOrty Shifter. I also pulled out my aftermarket stereo system, so the SHO does not have radio or speakers. I do have the original system, but I do no think it is worth re-installing.

These are the upgrades still on the car:

I rebuilt the transmission 15 years ago, installed a new Quaife differential, and have put 30,000 miles since then. I work from my house, so I do not put many miles on my cars. I rebuilt the transmission completely, replacing all the parts that were available at the time, such as synchros, seals, shims, bearings, etc., and installed a drain plug.

These are the upgrades left on the SHO:

93 ATX/MTX conversion, 3.2 block, 3.0 heads,
stock intake, air horns removed
Quaife differential installed in the transmission 40,000 miles on it. I have never raced or abused the tranny.
Clutch Master level 3 clutch (NEW) 250 miles on it.
Fidanza Aluminum flywheel
60K maintenance at 55,000 mi.
SHOrty Shifter
Delring shifter bushing and clevis pin
Tranny boss brace
H brace
BMR control arms
Koni adjustable shocks
Eibach Lowering Springs
Solid Motor Mounts
Autometer mechanical gauges for oil temperature, and oil pressure on Custom console panel for mechanical instuments
ShoShop Y pipe
SS flex pipe
Custom remote oil filter system with braided SS lines

I just installed a Clutch Masters level 3 clutch. It has 250 miles on it. One gas tank worth. I replaced the main engine seal when I installed the clutch.

I installed a brand new $200.00 fuel pump while troubleshooting the car.

I will throw in an extra 3.0 short block which is in great shape. (the original engine from the donor car). I have kept it covered. In the garage. I have also oiled the pistons and turned the engine manually over the years.

I installed a SHOrty Shifter in the car.

ABS does not work.

Good A/C

Upgrades on the car:
Delrin Shifter Bushing and Clevis Pin
Tranny Boss Brace
Aluminum subframe connectors
H Brace
BMR adjustable rear control arms
Koni adjustable Shocks and Eibach Lowering Springs. Koni only sells the inserts, so you have to install the cartridges in you original SHO shocks
Custom sub frame frame stiffeners welded to the underbody
SHOShop Y Pipe
SS flex Pipe
Remote oil filter with custom bracket and SS braided hoses.
Mechanical Autometer oil pressure and temperature. Water temperature gauge does not work. These are mounted on a custom panel.

I also have many other spare parts such as black dash panel, tan leather rear seats, door covers, etc.

This SHO handles like a sports car. It is solid.

Everything SHO that I have will go with the car.

I have:
Black MTX dash panel
Tan door panels and complete rear leather seats in very god shape.
ATX radiator
3.0L short block with 102,000 in very good shape.
$1,500.00 and it is yours.

I will post some photos later.
