PCV Valve/Crank Case pressure

So my baby got a new radiator and hoses today. Since she overheated after unsuccessfully doing the thermostat (long story...basically, the upper radiator hose came disconnected during a 30 mile drive).

Skip (one of the mechanics), said the Crank case pressure was abnormal. He said that checking the PCV Valve would be the next thing to do, and to take it easy until I got it checked out. So either he needs to clean the PCV Valve, or I need a re-build, as I understand it. What do you guys think? Am I being properly diagnosed? They do good work, but I'm really hoping I don't have to rebuild (due to financial restrictions).

Anybody else have similar expierences?

My car doesn't have a PCV valve. Hmm.....must've been a Monday car.

For the whatever:

This is the description of operation of the SHO PC system.

OPERATION
This system is unique because it does not use a PCV valve. Instead, the crankcase gases flow through an oil separator to three ports in the throttle body. Fresh air for the PCV system is supplied from another port on the throttle body to the cylinder head cover Under various throttle conditions, the air and crankcase gases flow differently through the ports in the throttle body.

Hope this clarifies things.

Thanks for the pic, SHOTOGO.

Just a thought though, wouldn't an abnormal crank case pressure set off the check engine light or is there a sensor there for such things?
