Does anyone know where to buy them? Will they fit and work with stock rotors untill I get the 13" Baer Eradispeed's? Is there a different braket I have to buy for either set up?

Thanx

PBR calipers will only work with the 13" brakes unless you modify the knuckle, which would keep you from going to 13" brakes in the future.

ya.. erik, that made sense.

the only way to get it to work on the 11.6's is a custom bracket, and Im not sure if its been done. not up on my V8's.

you use the stock mustang bracket to get the 13's on the V8

Yes, you would need a custom bracket in order to fit the PBR's under the stock wheels with the stock rotors. Kirk has a set on his car now, which I believe were a one-off.

People have been making the PBR caliper work with the 11.6's by cutting off the current mounting point ears and drilling new holes lower down. Doing so would prevent you from upgrading back to 13" brakes in the future, so I'd say that did make perfect sense.

If you're talking about the note from cyanmauve, I think he's describing moving the holes on the bracket, not the knuckle. This is a common adaptation on putting the PBRs on 94-95 knuckles, i.e., redrilling the bracket to move it slightly. When reducing the diameter this may mean that some of the bracket needs to be ground off to eliminate interference with the knuckle.

Sometimes this makes people nervous because they may wind up with an elongated hole in the bracket rather than a nice, round hole. Some have opined, and I've heard Todd say this, too, that if the hole is elongated radially from the hub, which would be the case, then there's no real compromise in strength or integrity. This has been done many times, so I guess there is evidence that it can be made to work.

I really don't know where you'd redrill a 94-95 knuckle for new mounts if you cut the ears off. The <93 knuckles have a really flat, stout portion that is an obvious candidate for drilling bracket mounts, but my recollection of the 94-95 knuckles is that they wouldn't be as friendly to such a modification. I've got a set sitting in the garage, I should look at them tonight.

You modify the bracket not the knuckle.. I have both versions, the bracket for the 11.6 and the stock bracket which lets me turn my 13: eradispeeds.
