SO this is great. I take the Kids out to a Applefest.. A craft fair in my hometown.
And what happens? My Passenger side front wheel nearly falls off. Seems like first the bearings were going. Then that cause something else to fail. LH Stabilizer bar went. From there, the ABS is gone. And when i take the tire off. i can wiggle the entire Wheel hub. Push... pull. etc.

So my conclusion is that i need nearly an entire new drivetrain for that wheel. From atlest the CVJoint out.

People say while im doing this.. i may as well get new struts, springs, shocks.. etc.

Is there anything i should save up on to do this? Etc... i know im gonna need to answer some questions before i get a good answer.. because from what i can tell. This wheel is screwed.

Later..

a severly deteriorated wheel bearing will cause all of the problems you have encountered. for less than $75, a new hub and bearing can be bought at your local parts store. a press is required to press out old and press in new.

I agree with DHMag. I don't remember how the SHO's are set up, but it's possible to have damaged the ABS sensor and toothed ring that the ABS sensor gets it's signal from if the bearing is as bad as it sounds.

What do you mean the wheel is screwed? Did it rub against something?

That bearing should have made noise before it got that bad. Did you hear any growling or grinding noises before this happened? I know that bad bearings sometimes sound like a bad tire.

ive had bad bearings groan with changing pitch, according to speed and ive had bad wheel bearings that never made a sound, until the wheel contacted the caliper.

THats what i had.
I didnt know about it until the wheel start rocking everwhere and rubbing against everything. THats when i saw the stabalizer rod off. But yeah, the ABS tooth'd hub is messssed up. ANd the wheel did rub across everything.. there are marks everywhere.

So the parts arent really that bad. Its the Installation?
Should i look towards quality parts? ANything good? Im kinda lost on this.

Timken makes the hub and bearing set. your local auto parts store will also include a warranty of some type.

the installation isnt that bad. loosen wheel hub nut. jack up and safely support vehicle. remove wheel/tire. disconnect swaybar endlink. disconnect outer tie rod end at knuckle. disconnect lower ball joint. loosen strut pinch bolt. to remove the strut, i use a 3/4"x3/4"x8" solid bar. place it on the top of the knuckle, then use your BFH and knock the knuckle down the strut.

once you have the knuckle seperated from the vehicle, take it to your local shop and have the old bearing pressed out and new pressed in. the NAPA near me wanted to charge me 25 per knuckle if i supplied the bearings. if i bought their bearings, pressing would have cost 17 a knuckle.
