the clips are supposed to be replaced whenever you remove/reinstall the shaft, but generally can be re-used.

I have bent them open a little before, and that has made them stay in like they should, so you might try that if you cannot find a new one.

Thanks didt even know i lost it.Till i put trans in and got home shaft cameI s out found my leak.Im sure itz gone .Push it bac in came rite out again.

yes all bolts are in,where,r talkin mtx.Dont want to buy a new shaft for a 20 cent clip.

I don't think there is a clip in the intermediate shaft...

It's supposed to come out easy, once the two bolts that hold the carrier bearing to the bracket are out.

Must be a bad carrier bearing then ,bearing **** out wit out take loose the 2 10mm bolts.So is the bearing that hold that side in,or it has a clip to.
