where can u get clip to hold it in trans case

the clips are supposed to be replaced whenever you remove/reinstall the shaft, but generally can be re-used.

I have bent them open a little before, and that has made them stay in like they should, so you might try that if you cannot find a new one.

Thanks didt even know i lost it.Till i put trans in and got home shaft cameI s out found my leak.Im sure itz gone .Push it bac in came rite out again.

You did bolt the intermediate shaft back to the bracket, right?

Guessing this car is an Atx? So no intermediate shaft.

yes all bolts are in,where,r talkin mtx.Dont want to buy a new shaft for a 20 cent clip.

I don't think there is a clip in the intermediate shaft...

It's supposed to come out easy, once the two bolts that hold the carrier bearing to the bracket are out.

Must be a bad carrier bearing then ,bearing **** out wit out take loose the 2 10mm bolts.So is the bearing that hold that side in,or it has a clip to.

Yeah, that shouldn't happen. Just the bearing, no clip.
