Parts upgrade time

Ok guys, I find myself able to make some significant upgrades to the SHO. I'm planning on the new CAC from Gearhead, Hot Pipes and catted Downpipes from EPP. My questions are, does everything I need for the exchange come with the parts ordered or do I need to order more items from the dealer? What's prone to breakage during the install? I want to order what I need and have everything present when I start. And I figure the parts won't get all at once, since there are wait times for them.

I just want to be prepared and I know many of you have already done these mods. I'm not planning on methanol upgrade either. But want to be prepared for Turbos if and when the time comes.

Also I haven't seen anyone post if they needed to have a retune after the CAC was swapped out.

I am not speaking from personal experience but I believe you will need to replace a lot of the plastic push on connectors that break when removing the front bumper cover to install the CAC.

PBlaster will be your friend if you DIY. But other than that, fasteners as Jeff mentioned, and gaskets are generally the main items to consider, even if reusable.

Yep, you are going destroy every plastic clip removing the front bumper. You will need coolant as well.

Remove your dipstick and tape the hole during the install. I broke mine and had to fish it out.

You will need to retune to optimize the intercooler efficiency.
