agreed.
everything is worthwhile if you have a use for it or people near you might.
i usually aim for the body cladding and all the body work if it isnt damaged, undamaged interior parts.
the center console. a lot of us Gen 1 guys will pay up to $50-100 bucks for a good gen 2 console in decent shape with all the brackets and hardware.
if the radio works, and it has the slave CD player, snag it someone might want it, CCRMs, DIS modules, Plug wires if they're in good shape, the engine if its easy for you to yank it out.
take the transmission, if the guts are bad, the case may be good, and vice versa.
any aftermarket components, like a bigger MAF, LPM, suspension stuff like springs or rear LCAs, H brace, STBs. anything that might have gotten overlooked.
snag the wheels. if a SHO guy wont want them, sometimes the T bird guys take em for $100 for the set of four.
make sure the car hasnt had a 96 upgrade, if it has grab all that (usually i just take the whole spindle and cut the soft line and sort it out later)
the EATC if it's a hard button or if the soft buttons haven't been damaged.
the plastic bezel on the side of the seats where the controls are if they arent damaged and you dont need the seats. i've only seen 2 SHOs without this broken.
i guess it all depends on how much room you have to store all the parts or how needy you and your nearest SHO buddies are.
