Someone suggested that I reword my question, so I started a new thread asking about cables instead of lines.

The parking brake cables on my car are completely rusted out and cannot operate anymore.

I think I have figured out which to get to replace the whole cable system. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I need, Left Rear, Right Rear and the Release Cable.

Thanks, in advance to anyone that can help.:thumb:

I found the one that goes through the floor just fine. Autozone carries it for 19.99, part number C2153. I think the release cable is the short little one that disengages the rest of the cable, you shouldn't need that one as it is entirely inside the car. I bought and replaced that front cable not too long ago though, so you shouldn't have a problem finding one.

EDIT: Rockauto carries the front cable too. :thumb:

Thanks everyone for the help. I found these cables too at NAPA, so I'll probably pick them up there sometime.

is that c2153 the one that goes all the way to the back ? i think mine went to the right(rear) disk? but it rusted in half and pretty much everything else except for the casing that leads to the cab is gone, i have no idea if this is just one long cable, or multiple peices under the car....any further help would b cool

The front cable (C2153) runs from the pedal assembly to a connection somewhere under the driver's door. The cable it attaches to (C2128) runs back to the rear driver's side caliper. The cable for the passenger side (C2077) runs off of the driver's side cable from a junction just in front of the rear driver's side tire (kinda under the rear driver's side door).

I don't have any pictures, but I do have a Ford CD Manual with some diagrams on a different computer. I'll see if there's any way I can get them up here. It would probably be worth it to pick one up yourself too, mine was like $5 off Ebay.

Yeah, I don't know how to get screenshots of the manual. If my dad gets home before I go out again, I'll see if he can do it.
