Well a while ago my park brake was working beautifully, then I forgot to release the park brake (faulty light), drove with it applied for a few kilometers, smelt burnt brake and then everything went downhill. The pads were pretty much cooked so I was able to replace the drivers side pads but I think the passenger side caliper is seized since I could not get the piston to compress, even with that rotating/compression tool, that and the wheel still rotates even while pressing the brake pedal with the engine running.

But anyways I plan to replacing that with a new caliper soon, but right now it seems that the park brake just doesn't work at all anymore! I'm guessing that it needs adjustment, so how do I go about doing this? Stupid mistake on my part :(

The adjustment is on a bracket just under the drivers rear door, you tighten or loosen the nut on the threaded rod. If something is froze it prolly won't work right anyway make sure everything is moving well before you start adjusting.
