Ok, I just painted my car and took off all of the body panels around the car, of course now all of those christmas tree fasteners need to be replaced. From ford they are like 2 to 3 bucks for two of them and I need a bunch. Just wondering if anybody happend to have the part number for them and a cheap place to get them! Any help would be great!

Take a couple of them to an auto parts store like autozone. They probably have some cheap generic ones you can match yours up with.

If you cant find them a Autozone go to an automotive paint store, they usually have a great selection of stuff like that.

Are you talking about the little plastic "barrel" clips that fit into the outer door skin? If so, I had to order mine from the dealer. They are $.50 each, and you need about 24 of them, maybe a few more.
Also, good luck getting the panels back on. I managed to dent (slightly) 3 out of 4 of my doors. It is not really noticeable, but after I spent 2 month redoing the body on my BLACK '89, it really ****** me off. rant rant

Thanks for all of the replies everyone, I really hope that I dont dent the doors in, especially after the sweet paint job that I did to this car, I will certainly post pics when I get it back together. I also made a few changes like a shaved fender so there is no more visible antenna, and an aftermarket spoiler!

I've seen "wire" antenna kits, similiar to antenna's used in small home theather systems(wire rapped around a base) that runs loops back and forth across the hood and basically acts like one big/flat antenna of wire.

Or he couldve just bought one of those "euro" antenna's on eBay jpshakeh .

Those ebay ones are horrible. I especially hate that ugly a$$ car that is on the auction listing page.

Anyways I was thinking about getting one of those antenna wire kits. My car is getting a new paint job by the end of july and shaving the antenna would be a nice touch.

RI-SHO, do you know where I can find one of these antenna kits?

You can pretty much mount the antenna anywhere on the car. Most of the newer cars of today do not have antennas and they are built into the body of the car. Without an antenna at all I still get reception, just not as good as before. I am thinking of mounting it behind the front or rear bumber.

Search online for "glass mount car antenna" you'll find some good sources and some kits for somewhere in the body and of course glass mount like my TL-S has(they look like defroster lines).
