you can use 96 cent a can Walmart paint and have no problem's. We used it on the intake and it was fine, IMO they high temp stuff is just a waste of money, I think everything on my husbands 95 has been painted with the good old walmart paint at least once, from the intake to the rims and have only touched it up to change colors.

idk, I always use the high-temp paint when doing anything in my engine compartment only b/c I was told to. I dont use spray cans though, I get paint mixed so I can have the color I want.

When I did mine, I bought some can from walmart that was around $4.50, it's a dark blue that changes to purple depending on how the sun hits it. I think it looks really good and have had a few people say the same thing. Most people were suprised when I told them I used spray paint.

Come to the next brekafast meet and check mine out. Mine was painted ebony satin to match the car with red lettering. Body shop guy did it with left over from when another SHO owner has his whole car sprayed.

They do make that chameleon paint stuff in a can and sell it at walmart, but that isn't the stuff that i bought. I bought a dark metallic blue, it just looks purple depending on how the sun hits it. I like it though.
