Thank you.
My paint was a little more than $20, more like $50 for the kit from https://www.g2usa.com/. I used their paint before on my trucks calipers and that was 5 years ago and it still looks as good as the day I painted them.

Cheap, and effective, method is closer to $10. Involves a small can of oil-based paint, from Home Depot or wherever, in your choice of color. Some cheap, disposable 1" brushes, and your favorite cleaner (I use lacquer thinner).

Clean calipers with a brush and the cleaner. Then 2 thin coats brushed on. Maybe 30-60 minutes in between, depending on weather. Let dry before driving.

It helps if you can avoid rain for the next time you drive, but getting them hot will nicely bake the finish.

This has worked well for years, on the vehicles I have for track use.

Glad that works for you, I like using a two part paint that has the hardener in it.

I used G2 as well choosing blue calipers and black brackets. Quite expensive but the results were dope.

I went with red, it's cliche I know...but it looks great to me. Also added some high-heat silver SHO decals on the front calipers and really like the way it looks. I used the Duplicolor caliper paint kit.

I was going back and forth between red or blue when I did mine. Picked blue as I've done my trucks calipers in red.

I did the same on my Explorer. Went about 3 years before I sold it for my MKS and I think the can was less than $7. I actually have plenty left I could lightly my car.

I have the G2 paint a friend gave me (black), but I’m conflicted on what color to actually do. Bronze keeps coming back as the number 1 pick.

If bronze is your primary color, consider using the on-hand G2 black to hit the brake mounting components and letting the bronze be your caliper color. Using the black really set my blue calipers off as the new equipment was silver and clashed with the caliper.

always suggest this for a more sporty feel than just painting everything you see. And for the love of God, don't paint the brake pad...

Since I did the '13+ swap everything was painted as soon as they came out of the box and came out great (with the exception of my impatience in spots).
