Hello all,

My plan is to install a PAC unit along with the factory wiring module.

Now that I have my doors open and I’m installing a set of Hertz Cento Pro 6.5 components, I’m realizing that the signal to the front woofers is low pass filtered and therefore I don’t have a signal for my tweeters which I was going to install in the sail panels.

So my question is: Will the PAC Amp with factory wiring module somehow give me a full range - not crossed over - signal to the front doors which I can input into the Hertz crossovers?

How should I wire this?

I also plan to install a TWK-8, a single sealed 12” sub, and Hertz speakers in the rear doors, all driven by a Hertz ML5 4 x 100w + 500w.

As far as I can tell from the instruction and installation manuals, it looks like the PAC outputs full spectrum signals. I’m guessing that it does not send any signal to the front tweeters?

Does anyone have direct experience with the PAC Amppro in an application that has tweeters?

As far as I can tell, the front woofer signal is a full spectrum signal, not low pass filtered. So I’m running the front door woofer signal into my crossover and the Hertz tweeter is making music. I simply disconnected the factory tweeter.

The PAC will bypass the factory amp and will have full range RCA outs or there is an optional optical out you can add so you only have to run one cable to the Twk. You can then use the Twk to set crossovers for each speaker.
