My 97 SHO has been throwing this code for some time. I in turn have been throwing money at it (and the code persists).

I see that my long term fuel is trying to take out fuel for bank 1. What would affect only bank one causing it to be too rich?
Any advise is appreciated.

8 coils
16 plugs
4 O2 sensors
8 injectors
fuel filter

checked/serviced:
valve adjustment
compression
tps voltage
maf
egr
air filter
hoses

Check your fuel pressure.

If that checks OK and the FPR isn't leaking, then try a different PCM.

I finally took delivery of my SHO from the tranny shop! (~ 3 months of 'adjsuting'). They finally replaced the valve body with a reman unit, replaced all of the solinoids, replaced the TC and what not. I was not willing to accept the so-so job they had done especially at the price I paid. It now shifts just fine and they extended the warranty. So far so good.

Back to my miss.
The odds are that the harness is bad or the pcm so I ask.
Can I replace the PCM with another (same number AWXX or whatever) and not need to get it reflashed or anything? That it will work with all of the other factory modules? or???

Should be able to swap in any one from a '96 or '97. The '96 JJK2 will not have the Evap solenoid output though for the cannister at the rear.

does that mean they didnt have a evap system? im still goin round and round with mine im ready to just remove the whole deal.....

no they don't have the solenoid at the cannister.
