P0172 System too Rich (Bank 1). I've got this twice in the past 3 days. I'm guessing it has to do w/ the tune... but since I don't have a wide band I can't be for sure what is causing it. I'll check the user options to see if I can lean it out a little.

In the mean time is there anything physical besides a stuck injector that could cause the car to run too rich on 1 bank?

I can lean it out but it is trial and error by adjusting the MAF. May be a weak O2 also. You can data log the O2 voltage swings. If one is slower than the other then the O2 is bad. Easiest way is to log the STFTs for each bank.

If you are only getting the code for one bank I would guess it is the sensor. If it were strictly the tune you would see this on both banks as the tune cannot address individual banks as far as fuel supply is concerned. This is controlled by the O2s.
