So after a few weeks/months of poking around at these fuel codes we've finally come down to the solution (at least for me). My XDI-35 has had some kind of internal failure causing the pump to push less than half of the required fuel pressure to make the car drive. My XDI pump is roughly a year old with around 10kish miles on it. I'm currently working with XDI on a solution and will report back with an update.

Well that's just plain unfortunate. That's not much use really, and they certainly aren't cheap. Hopefully there's a better option than full replacement...

I feel like someone else had that happen about a year ago and they replaced the spring on it. They seem to stand behind their products so hopefully you won't be out anything but shipping costs and a little downtime.

XDI is shipped out as of today, so far so good. Customer service has been easy to work with thus far, they should have the pump in their hands by thursday. I'm guessing with the holidays I'll have an answer some time after xmas or maybe after new years.

Keep us updated, mine is still new in box, but if something happens to mine similar to you, be helpful down the road to know the solution.

Xdi confirmed the piston seal inside the main pump body had failed and the pump is junk. Unfortunately, it will no be covered under the warranty for a replacement due to timing. I had originally called instead of emailing when the car stopped running and ended up chasing multiple other parts based on their reps recommendation. They are going off of the first email I sent (instead of phone call while trouble shooting) after it was confirmed it was the HPFP which unfortunately was months later (back-order parts hung up the vehicle). They did however offer to refurb the pump for $600 and turn it into an XDI-35 EVO. At this point I gave the go ahead to refurb the pump and I'd rather not be out $1600 with nothing to show for it. So I guess morale of this story, if you think your pump is dead and its still in warranty email right away.

quick question on fuel, how close should fuel rail pressure and FRP desired be?

noticed my DSD is ~50 psi higher under throttle, could this be the cause of misfires or is that pretty normal?
