I've read that some of you guys have gotten your hands on Ross, Wiseco, and JE pistons for your motors and I was wondering if any of your know off-hand about how much these pistons run. I'm needing either .020" or .040" over pistons for my 3.2 and I'm trying to spend the least amount I can. I'm waiting to hear back from the machine shop that is working on my 3.2 block about what pistons they can get for me, if any, but I was hoping that some of you might be able to shed some light on the prices of some of these pistons.

I would like to get a supercharger for this car later down the road, but realistically it may stay N/A for as long as I own it. But if there are pistons out there that would work great for either application that would be best for me. I do also plan on calling these manufacturers in a few days but I'd just like to get an idea on prices so I can do a little more research on whichever pistons end up being the least expensive before I call that manufacturer.

Thanks!,
Andrew

Go to SHONut as they have listings of pistons and prices.

It sounds like you want the 3.3 pistons.

If you go for boost you would want low compression pistons but you would not want to run them N/A. If you go with stock compression and a S/C you should be able to go aorund 8psi or so and be fine.

SHONut Performance sells custom wiesco pistons. You can order them any size [3.0, 3.2, 3.3] you want, as well as just about any compression ratio. I believe they are around $850. Also, if you're looking at boosting in the future, the stock compression is not a bad one to have. Some go slightly lower with 9.5:1, which you may not notice much power loss n/a, but the lower compression is going to allow for more boost without detonation.
