Overdrive light flashing.

Hey all,

All of a sudden I've noticed my overdrive light is flashing, wether or not the overdrive is on or not. Overdrive works with the button perfectly (I feel the shift and the RPM's drop when its on) just the light flashes, no pattern to it at all.

Anyone have an idea what this could be? The shifter **** is kinda loose, but the button works, I keep hearing how this may be a wiring issue with the **** so I wanted to see if anyone else has another idea of what it could be.

FYI, The transmission was of course, recently rebuilt.

That light is definently protesting something it does not like. Have it checked out ASAP.


Wether the trans shifts fine and tq convertor works good now doesnt matter. Anybody can make a trans work good for a short time. Bring it back and have it checked out. Something might be amiss inside there.
