I realize this is totally off topic, but my main hobby for over 50 years has been collecting photos, brochures, books etc. etc. on the subject of wheeled military vehicles from 1935 to 1945. I look especially for US vehicles used by other countries but also have a massive collection of this kind of stuff on European, Asian and South American vehicles.
I found the below photo yesterday on a Bulgarian Historical Site which shows two 1940 Fords racing a couple of BMWs in a sort of "Nice Manners" jalopy derby. I can't read Bulgarian, but the photo caption indicated the photo was taken in 1947.
I also have similar photos taken in France and Sweden from the same time period.
Hope it is of some interest.
