Right driver side SHO (96-97 only)

As I made some researches recently on these, I put it here if someone else is curious. It more a compilation of existing infos (all in one place) than new infos.

In 1996, 91 were made. Many silver and black and 2 Rose mist.
In 1997, 1 was made.
As we know, they all have a nightmist (purple) interior (at least 70 on the 91 of 1996).

The best exemple is 1FALP54N8TA238923 built the 6 march 1996. He was still rolling in 2012. It was first ship to Japan and then sent to UK. When the new owner check the cams they were welded. He communicate with the last owner who said him that the cams was welded when the car was in Japan... Some photos of the welding exist on the net and it's the best welding job I ever saw personnaly (I will try to put it here). It will be interesting to know if others RHD were welded in the same circumstances and with the same manner.

Hey Gen3SHO. He welded the daylight out of those sprockets. My weld was not nearly extensive. Do you want my VIN? Is there a certain number of black satin ebony metallic produced in 1996 that you can link me too in this vast website? I was told the president of Ford used it but you know step parents, they tend to lie a lot. Where is there pictures of your ride?

There is a video out there of a ride in one of these rare SHO's with the Aubergine interior. I just haven't found it again yet.

I tried to find out the export code in the door sticker for those (in RM registry) but it's not clear.

Eric, do you kept photos or notes on the door stickers of these cars ? The district codes on them can help us understand the export codes like RC 9(A-Y). We have a RHD RM with this built date too and the code is RC 9H.

According to my list of VIN, the one built in 02/96 was probably made between november and december 95 but exit the factory only in 02/96 because Ford delayed their exit.

Way back when, I posted the door sticker SHO'ing it marked For Export Only. And it was on the front RIGHT side door.
