I was wondering of people's opinions on these wheels with my car being an all black 2016 SHO? Also what size tires would you recommend on 20x9's to fill the wheel wells in a little bit more with no rubbing or performance issues and also provide the best look? Thanks

I would say a 275/40 would do the trick. You might be able to get away with a 275/45 if you are staying stock ride height.

I plan on staying stock ride height cuz I don't want to deal with the extended warranty BS if something were to go wrong after I lowered it. Are there any wheel pic galleries on here? Thanks

Those look damn good! Great work on the car by the way. Thanks for the suggestions by the way. I'm sure I will have more questions soon enough. I just bought the car a couple weeks ago so I'm just trying to get familiar with everything

Thanks for the kind words. No worries, there is a lot of info around here. Just have to ask.

I know 275/45 works with 19x9.5 +35. No reason 275/40 wouldn't work for 20s i would think.

Not to hijack your thread but... Is it better to run 8.5" wide or 9.5" wide? Does it make any difference?

I'm looking at these:
ENKEI part #531-285-6540 or part # 531-295-6540

With some conti extreme contacts or some other performance tire in 275/40r20

My personal belief is 8.5 is the narrowest rim you can run a 275 on. When I need tires I will put 275's on my 8.5 inch wide Curvas without thinking twice.

An 8.5 seems very doable as it's only a 6.3mm change on both sides.

But if I go with a 9.5 it says this...

Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 19.1mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 19.1mm more than before.

I guess I better get out and measure to see if that's going to be a problem, I would rather have a little more poke, I just don't want to have too much that it rubs.

Anyone else running 9.5" with H&R's? Any problems with it rubbing?

The skinnier wheel will help the 275 take curb hits and such instead of eating the wheel. Plus 8.5 is lighter. I know you're thinking "lighter, by what, 2lbs..?" But on unsprung rotational weight, that's a big thing.

This is my setup with ZERO rubbing on stock height: Staggered Wheels: Niche Misano 20x9 +35 Front and 20x10 +40 Rear, Cooper Zeon RS3 G1 Tires: F: 245 45 20 R: 275 40 20

I even lowered the back end via cutting the coils.....still no rub.
