Old Intake Manifold Gaskets Stuck!

Hello everyone,

I got a spare intake manifold in recently. I am in the process of cleaning it out completely. Some of the old intake manifold gaskets seem to be stuck to the intake. Has anyone experienced this? How do you get the old ones off? I do have a new set to put on but the old ones have to go. Any suggestions?

that or if you have air or a drill you can use a wire brush atatchment for a die grinder

...or gasket remover. But, it will eat away the finish if you plan on keeping it stock.

The stock intake gaskets are metal with black plastic stuff gasket material on each side. If you get a chisel and catch the edge you should be able to rip it off, then you'll just need to clean the black stuff off that is left stuck on the head.

i think his prob is with the plenum to runner and plenum to butterfly gaskets
