well, its come to the point where my SHO needs alot of work done to the suspension.

im looking to do basically everything i can with the money ive hoarded together.

first off, all the struts are toast. the car is sagging really bad in the back and handles like i have butter for springs.

ive got a set of tokikos sitting in the garage, im ordering a set of eibachs, what i need to know is what im going to need exactly as i am replacing:

struts
springs
front and rear sway bars and endlinks

i was thinking of 2 kits the SHOshop had available, the suspension support upgrade package, and the stiff body package. Now i was to be doing these 2 kits, AND the springs and struts... what else would i need? [ie... bushings, grommets, cups.. etc etc etc]

any and all input is greatly appreciated.

ive got about 1300 bucks to fix all of this stuff, and more coming when i sell my laptop. I just need to know what the heck to spend my money on oh_my and have the car handle like it should.

thanks to all in advance! thumbs_u

you may also want to look into an h-brace for the rear. once you get your struts and shocks done though im sure youll be much happier. but subframe connectors are the way to go if you have the money. if youre *really* ambitious you could go by all those polyurethane energy bushings and put em in. im sure theres some post on which ones are the best for sho's though.

Rear suspension:

If you are replacing the rear struts and springs, also replace the upper strut mount. That way you don't have to 1) bother with disassembling the old assembly and 2) worry about the mount failing quickly.

Replace the sway bar bushings and the sway bar end links. Add GTP control arms as a bonus along with an H-brace.

Front suspension:

New end links, new sway bar bushings, new subframe bushings, new upper mounting plates, adjusters, tension strut bushings, lower control arm bushings.

Inspect and replace as needed: Ball joints (requires the lower control arm to be replaced), tie rod ends (outer), tie rods (inner), inspect rack for leaking, replace it if it does.

Add front and rear strut tower braces and sub-frame connectors to really stiffen up the car's body.

Have fun, I wish I had a budget for all these things. :p
