have a two part question thats related.
when replacing the oil pump seal and the rear crank cover seal .... does the oil pan have to be off or is it not a issue. The oil pan does get new seals too .... just didnt know if i have to have that off first to do the other too. If memory serves me correct .... the two dont have anything in common...
second question .... when u have a motor on a engine stand .... doing the rear seal .... and crank cover is impossible .... you either have to hold the motor by your cherry picker or place it on blocks of wood to get to the back side .... is that it or has someone come up with a better way
