Even with a gasket set will it eventually leak oil again? Is this something that SHO owners will have to live with?

No, the gasket set should fix all the oil in the plug wells. Mine were so bad that the back 3 plug wires wouldn't even fit on. Now they are bone dry and should stay that way.

Why are you asking? Is there a constant leak in your wells?

I have found that the valve cover and plug well seals are good for about 120,000 miles, or every other valve gapping (for those that do it by the book

). For most cars and most owners, that would be a lifetime, but we know better, don't we?

Valve cover and plug well seal set: Fel-Pro VS50738R, Auto Zone, $72.
