Trying to find out whey she was only firing on 5 cylinders, I started checking plugs. Of course, number 2 (middle back) has oil in the plug well. I replaced all of the plug well seals a year ago.

When I pull the valve cover, can I reuse the leaky seal? Or should buy a new one and replace it?

Valve cover seals are re-usable but once they leak , they are done with , replace.

First, re-torque all the valve cover bolts. A loose bolt or two will release clamping pressure on the SPTW gaskets and allow them to leak. If they are torqued, then your grommets are too compressed and not transmitting enough torque to the valve covers, preventing a good seal at the SPTWs.

Either that or you didn't install them right when you did. In any case, if the seals are only a year old, then you should be able to reuse the valve cover gaskets. But you have to get new ones to get the SPTW seals anyway... why not replace them?

Try a film of RTV on each plug well seal the next time. Not too much, and give it plenty of time to cure. I'd go with new seals.
