I have the same thing going on with my '95 ATX, it had a bad cam sensor when I got it, which possibly was related to the oil leaking into it. I have a significant amount of oil coming out there, and dripping onto the power steering pump.

Your leak is coming from the cam seal back there, which is a PITA to change. Personally, I wouldn't consider it an emergency, but I would change it when you have some extra time, as leaks only get worse.....

I guess you meant the CID sensor, oil cannot stay in the CPS.

As Bob pointed out, it is coming from the cam seal.

I would wait until you perform a major front end service, unless it starts leaking as Bob also described.

The sensor element is actually located on the upper portion of the sensor housing, so aoil within the body of the sensor is ulikely to cause any effect on the Hall effect switch.
