Everything is OK except the center bore. The 86-95 Taurus is 63.5mm or 2.5". Are those off a volvo or something? Those wheels will bolt up but without the centerbore to align the wheels on the hub, they wont be centered and will vibrate like crazy. You also run the risk of breaking the studs from the stress.

they will fit, you just have to be very carefull when putting them on... several people here have volvo rims on their cars(deconblue for sure), i believe he has a 3 or 4 step process for torqueing the wheels down, and he has not has a problem with them vibrating.

You can use them regardless to center bore. Get some Hubcentric rings to compensate for the rims larger bore and you'll be fine. Where to find them? I dunno. Aftermarket rims usually come w/ them for certain applications.

I had hub centric rings made by a local machinist for my brake upgrade. He just took a piece of pipe and machined down the outside and bored the inside to the proper diameters. And then cut two 1/4" wide sections off the pipe. They press fit the hub but I loctited them in place to be sure.

Thanks for the responses. I think that I am going to forget these rims and do as Neno had suggested on previous post and get as least a 17 * 7.5 rims.

Thanks again

Yes your right on both counts.

You can run non-centric hub rims, but you just have to be very careful when you torque the lugs down. I get them finger tight then using a torque wrench and going in the 5-point star pattern; 50 ft/lbs, 75 ft/lbs and then 95-100 ft/lbs.

Also a 17" x 7.0" rim really limit you tire size down to a 225/50-17, which there aren't many tire brand/type choices. With the 17" x 7.5" rim you can run the 235/45-17 or 245/45-17 tire sizes with plenty of brand/type choices.
