I have been told yes. But, if you are going to use a JBL radio, the amp turn on wire voltage is different. I was told the 1st gens use a 12v signal wire, and the 2nd gens use a 4v. It should work if you just put a switched 12v to the amps.

Remember, i could be wrong. But i was told this by a forum member.
