O2 sensor bank1 sensor 2

I know this sensor is the one before the convertor , but which one is it?

Nope, it the downstream (after the cat) sensor for the rear bank. It will be the furthest sensor rearward on the y-pipe.

I believe the O2 sensors after the cats do not factor into the air/fuel mixture, correct? If they are working correctly and they generate a code, then the cat is potentially fouled.

I changed one out on my 98 Expedition, check engine light went away. Bad O2 sensor.
