I need to put a new o-ring on my t-stat outlet housing. In the block/pipe. Not the therm cover!! My question is; Does anybody know if any of these water pump gasket "kits" include the o-ring needed for replacement? 1993 3.2l SHO. Now naturally if there is some place i can get the o-ring by itself, then all the better, tho that doesn't appear very likely from what i see so far. Any compatible vehicle o-ring, any, any! Thanks alot OK!

water crossover pipe o-ring

Yeah i see that kit is very available. I may get it. I was looking first to see if i could buy just the one o-ring. Also the o-ring that is already on my car looks to be in good condition. Push come to shove i'll keep it on. I can also take this o-ring into a seller and they can see about matching it up with a compatible one. :thankyou:

Why do you want to go thru so much trouble for an o-ring that can be had for $10 at any autoparts store in town?

If you are doing one then you need to do the other. Unless you have the timing cover off and the waterpump off then you will need to pull the thermostat housing to get at the tube. You need the entire kit to do the job right.
