I think that the 2010 is not called myFordtouch. What is it called? I have so many questions about it but I have no idea what to call it.

I also just paid $60 for the Sirius Travel Link but there is also another Ford charge with Sync Destinations. Does anyone know what this will do?

Is there away that I can click on my phone contact and navigate to their address. Or sync the phone contacts with the navigation address book?

Why doesn't the 2010 have app link?

the 2010 just uses sync and a navigation system, no myfordtouch.

once you bluetooth link your phone, it should ask if you want to download your contacts, do that and then itll all show up under the phone tab in sync.

i hate to do this, but have you looked over your manual? itll help a little bit I am sure.

I have had my Brick with Nav for over 2 years. Read about system an hour a night... should finish in 2014, about the time I trade it off! Solution for me is a second Nav... my trusty Garmin! Use it as a GPS Speedo & for finding motels/gas/food. Phone book and bluetooth work very good with Sync in Brick. Just hate having to go through multi screens to get to motels etc. Even with LockPick... it is hard to enter destinations when moving, as you only have 60 sec before you have to re-boot LockPick. Need to do that 3-4 times on some addresses. NOT user friendly.

Yes i read the entire novel about the navigation. I see the contacts show up under phone but I want them to show up under address book in navigation.

I want to click on a contact and navigate to them.

I find that Sync voice commands on my 2010 SHO work really well. The system finds most POI's quickly and it's easy. Just have to remember to change the state when searching a POI in a close but different state. In fact, the system even found all the restaurants I had searched for when I was in Montreal for vacation! Pretty convenient.
I also find it easier to enter street addresses using voice commands. And this works without a lockpick and can be used while in motion.

I really wish there were a way to view a digital speed output a lá Garmin on the Nav display. On my Mustang, and I'm sure the SHO, the speedo is so damned small you can't figure out exactly how fast you're going to more than about +/-2mph. It's frustrating, and I don't feel like engaging engineering mode every time I start the car.

as far as i know the contacts in the phone and the nav are different, so you cannot go back and forth with them like you want to.

you will just have to save the important addresses you want into the nave if you want to access them quickly.

Do you know the name of the 2010 Nav unit? I search for sync and 10 million pages come up with the regualr sync system with no touch screen. Is it a Sync Nav unit? How do I refer to this unit?
