I haven't seen anyone address this question. Basically, data logging is simply doing a zero to 80-100ish run at wide open throttle while using the device to record. When I did mine I simply stopped at the beginning of an interstate on ramp (in the country), started recording, floored it, and then let off around 80. Then I would have my wife email that data log to Torrie while I went to the next exit to turn around. By the time I got there (12 miles) Torrie got me the next tune revision. I repeated the process a few times and was done, it was super easy.I've watched the video on how to data log but I don't remember seeing anything about how hard to run the car when data logging... Some clarification would be appreciated

Oh and was the difference BIG? In other words were you simply convincing yourself of the difference, because of your efforts or was it obvious ?I haven't seen anyone address this question. I have a $100 deductible extended waders m warrantee that covers almost everything to 144,000 miles. Is it hard to set back to stock for warrantee work? It's worth seeing if you can work a deal to get that tuner for a lower price. I believe I found mine used for $175 shipped and after paying the $300 to get it activated for my car, I bought SP534 spark plugs and a 3-bar sensor from Rockauto.com as well as a 170 thermostat from stage3motorsports.com all for about $615 IIRC. I'm currently running the stage 4+X 93 race tune from LMS and yeah, it MOVES out. I'll eventually find out how it runs against a 2016 Chevy SS 6-speed (stock).

Laptop is required ...Torrie from unleashed tuning has videos on YouTubeSo to data log with the sct do you just hit record then stop after the pull or? And do you have to have a laptop in the car or?
Lap top is needed but not in the car unless your trying to do different tunes and need to clear previous log. Other than that it can sit home. Once your done on the handheld just plug it in to the computer, import log save and then delete files from sct. top two leave the bottom ones Alone those are your log configuration. and email . Once you receive you revision. Use sct updater to put it on the device. Then run the tune over the other tune you don't have to return to stock.. do a good relearn let me know if you need instructions I have instructions for a kam reset. Cars gonna slam some gears after fresh program. So to data log with the sct do you just hit record then stop after the pull or? And do you have to have a laptop in the car or?
