Noise Under Load

Anyone know what could be the cause for this noise? It only happens under heavy throttle between shifts. PTU issue possibly?

yeah these cars need ptu maintenance and what year and is it a PP. the PP adds the ptu cooler and the non PP can be a heat issue around that DP cat.

It’s a 2013. Just got it about a month ago. Pretty sure it’s a PP, because it is equipped with group 402A.

Yes it is a PP.

I still think the most obvious is alcantara on the steering wheel. Everything else has showed up over the years in oddball non PP’s. My 2014 non PP had PP shocks, springs, and oil cooler, I’ve heard others with 3.16 final drive, traction button, but never alcantara wheel. Strange.

As for that noise I’d check mounts, motor, trans specifically. Those are squishy junk.
