No tail lights and blinking EATC display. WTF!?

I just noticed the other day while getting gas that i had no tail lights, no tag light. Fuses checked/ AOK. Is the a relay? Im at a loss after that. Now the weird part, when the lights arent on, the display on the eatc flashes in opposite time with the turn signals. When the lights are on, the display dims a little, but thats it. This is a recent development. The severely aging whip is a '92. Thanx.

Multifunction switch on the steering column? I had some wierd light problems on my 89 several years ago and I ended up finding the Multifunction switch and wiring connector on the column had overheated and started to short out. I had to get a new MFS and splice in a new connector...
