Hey guys I probably don’t have enough info yet to diagnose but figured I’d give it a shot to see if someone else has had this problem.

I’ve got 97k on my 2016 sho new battery about three months ago.
Car ram perfectly after work I stopped into a store and when I came back and started the car I had no power steering.
Thought it was weird so I turned off and back on then it drove normal for 10 feet and I lost power steering and brakes then basically all warning light came on and engine stopped accepting input.

Cross traffic system fault
Steering assist fault
Low engine oil pressure
Engine coolant over temperature
Blind spot system fault
Tpms
Service advancetrac

Now it won’t try to crank at all when i start it just cycles those messages over and over

Got it towed to the dealership I do sales at but it’s Saturday night so I won’t be able to talk to anyone until Monday.

If anyone has ran into this please let me know what happened!

Best 1st guess..When you get multisystem faults it's usually a processor problem. You can have some overlapping codes but those are quite spread out. Or maybe an electrical current issue-probably not

I'll take a shot in the dark. First are these warning lights or codes. Check your battery voltage and battery connections. Do the voltage check with both key on and key off.

Well of course when the tech looks at my car it fires right up no problem no warnings lol.
Took it home it’s ran fine no issues I’m stumped.

I had to replace the positive battery terminal about a week ago and the only thing I can think is that caused issues.

I’ll be having a tech take a closer look tomorrow to hopefully figure it out

That is all low battery voltage stuff. Same things happened when my alternator gave up.... on my fourth battery.

Not necessarily. Just that as far as I know those symptoms match the condition of low voltage. You said you changed a cable, maybe it was a loose connection. test the voltage after it sits and test again while running and see how much your voltage goes up.

When I lost power steering and had all the lights go nuts on the dash the car was running and the battery was only testing in the 12’s.

THese cars are electrical pigs and eat through batteries at a rate most are not used to seeing. As above could be interruption in electricity flow also. Electricity and electronics are weak points

It can be reset by letting the car sit entirely undisturbed for about 8 hours. No doors opened, and no key fob button was pressed. I am not sure I would trust that method.

I wouldn't. These cars eat batteries, maybe because of the BMS. I've been through 4 batteries. The first 3 I didn't know about the reset. The latest one has been going fine for quite some time now after I reset the BMS.
