Im having a problem with my sho being incredibly slow. Especially when its somewhat cold. Today after work (about8 hours) I jumped into my sho and started driving. I drove normally not beating on my engine but I could still feel it chugging and searching for power. Also I think that my sho is just relatively slo. If Im going 2 miles an hour and punch it should the SHO break traction at all? mine doesnt? It feels like Im driving an automatic ford ****** till I come into where the secondaries open up is there a senson that could be causing this. There is always a high pitched eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee comming from the back of the car is my fuel pump dying or what is the deal here I thought this thing s supposed to be faster than my stang?

That high pitched squeal definitely sounds like your fuel pump is going south. And as far as being faster than your mustang, i guess it depends on what kind of mustang you have... :)

I also have that high pitched fuel pump noise. My SHO feels slow when its low on gas. Then after I fill it up its fast again. Original pump on its way out I guess.

check if your secondaries are closing. Pop your hood and have someone start your car. You should see your secondaries close, If not then that is your problem. My sho is really sluggish under 3900 rpm's.

I had this same problem, did a tune-up discovered that the previous owner used copper plugs, changed to double platinum and wholey moley, totally different vehicle.

I also have a problem of the same sort.. Im 19 my first car is a 94 ATX SHO, it has 65K miles and just recently started to feel a chugging right after i start the car up and let it idle. This same effect occurs when I just cruise at 55 or any steady speed. Kind of feels like the trans is slipping but when I push the gas down a little further it starts pulling like it should. What's the deal with it? I took it to the local ford garage and they said they would have to run a diagnostics*? and it would cost like 80 bucks. Can anyone tell me what the situation is? Need any more info just ask. Thanks a lot Jon
