OK, it's been a while since I've had to post on here for problems :) , but now my durn radio stopped working. It's an aftermarket radio from Durasound, (it was the best priced radio from walmart when my original went out).

I'm pretty sure it was wired properly b/c I did it myself and it had worked for almost 6 months, up until this evening. It worked just fine this morning when I went to get my tires rotated, but then when I started my car this evening to go get some food the radio was just blank. It has no power, no lights, no nothing...
So I did the logical thing and tryed changing the fuse, (#11, 20amp, yellow), It's a '93 ATX, so I'm assuming that's right, but after changing the fuse, it still has nothing... so what to the SHO electrical gods think could be the prob?

might just be a bad h/u, the cheaper brands go out quicker. especially wally world cheapies. but thats just my experience. :shrug:hope its not anything expensive.

My advice to you is:

Start searching eBay for a good used HU. Pioneers always held up nicely for my needs, but there are other good quality brands for cheap that will last for a long time. I'm afraid your el cheapo HU has just ended its reign of radio supremacy in your particular SHO. These things happen.

Of course, if you just want sound, there are plenty of JVC and Sony HUs for cheap, and they are brand new! Expect to spend between $100-$150.
