no knock sensor

i did a few different searches, but i couldn't source anything relevant.

how bad of an idea is it to drive the car with the knock sensor disconnected, provided i am the only driver and i only use 93 octane?

i dunno if it is anything like GM's...


but if you roll around without a Knock sensor in a grand prix, you are fine... just dont floor it.. and fix it as soon as possible.

With no Knock, the system should throw a code, and revert to limp home timing.

my brother was working on the car, and we had the fuel rails off to replace injector o-rings. I had bought a new sensor a while back, so i told him to go ahead and get the old one off. needless to say he broke the connector, and i can't find the new one and it makes me angry to have to buy a new one.
