Im pretty sure all these are on one circuit and it goes straight through the turn signal switch and i kno that will be a ***** to do. So i was thinkin maybe somethin easier like the flasher? Anyone have any info on it? Also my power door locks dont work and neither does the keyless entry for the doors or trunk but the alarm works? my power seats dont work either those are on the same circuit. Im thinkin all these probs are a group of wires that got grounded somewhere but im praying not

have you ruled out the possiblity of blown fuses?

definetly start with the fuses as mentioned above...always start with the easy stuff, then you know the cheapest part is or isnt the problem!

the MFS (multi function switch/turn signals/wipers) is actually pretty easy to swap out. put your key in the ignition turn to on/run, but dont start. underneith you can see a small hole, put a small screwdriver in there to press in the 'keeper', then slide the piece out...dont try to take your keys out of it, or twist it at all unless you want to try to reassemble the peices that come off. gently put it out of your way so it doesnt roll around.

then is a few screws from there, and just the plastic cliping together. then i think 2 screws hold the MFS switch on the column.

This might sound weird, but that happened to me one time... I pushed the hazards a whole bunch of times, then it mysteriously started to work. Odd, I know, but it happened. Really it did.

You sir, have a gremlin in your SHO :laugh_ti:

This really sounds like your Multi function switch. Not sure how hard it is to change in a second gen , but on a first get it's super easy fix, just a little time consuming. If that is in fact the problem, Most AutoZones have one in stock for $60.99. Hope this helped :thumb:

Play with the hazard switch a few times. It tends to get a lil' gummy after all these years. IIRC mine was a little goofy after using it during my balljoint incident.... Operated it a few times and it was fine.

I took it apart again, cleaned the connectors, jiggled the wires around on the column(hoping and praying), and yet i get nothing. I have time now to try some things since my intake is off because im porting polishing and painting. Im also thinking of just buying a brand new MFS, but what is the chance that two of them have the exact same problem, and they both end up in my hands!! My sis drives a gl so im thinking of putting in my old one to see if her brakelights stop working. Is it the same part? she has a column shift and i think its a 92 because it has the straight steering wheel. Its definetly a gen 2
